Making a Slabby
Guide on making, and buying from, shops.
Firstly, you'll need a plot or a market! We have a guide on acquiring one of those here:
Shop PlotsMaking Shops
To make the actual slabby shop, you'll firstly need to place down a slab and get a stick. This can be a top of a bottom slab.

You then simply right click the slab with the stick, and it'll open this GUI:

You then just click the item you want to sell! In this example, I would click the obsidian block above.

You're almost there! You can now set your pricing. The green button is the price you want to sell your item for. The yellow button is the quantity you'd like to sell at a time (E.G. If I set the green to 20 and the yellow to 10, I'd be selling 10 obsidian for $20). The red button is a less commonly used feature - it allows you to let players sell items TO your shop, however we recommend being careful with this as it can allow players to quickly drain your balance.
Stocking your shop
To stock your shop just right-click your shop and shift-click the chest-minecart.
You'll need the item you are selling in your inventory to do this!
Additionally, you can also link a chest to your slabby- Simply right-click the slabby and click the chest icon labeled "Link Chest". It will then prompt you to crouch and punch the chest you'd like to link.
(Note: linked chests can only work on single chests, not double chests, and only one slabby can be linked to a chest at a time.)
Once you've linked the chest, you can restock your shop from the chest instead of directly into the slabby!
Buying from shops
Buying from shops is fairly simple, firstly you'll want to hover your mouse over the gold-ingot. In the item lore you'll see Buy for $123.
To check if you have the money needed to buy run the command /bal
If you do indeed have the money needed and are satisfied with the price, just click the gold ingot and it'll send your money to the seller and the item purchased will appear in your inventory!
Linking Chests
Slabbys also allow you to link a chest to them! Any items inputted into that chest will then stock your shop, allowing you to remotely stock your shops and even automatically stock your shops by feeding hoppers into your slabby linked chest!
Linked chests only currently work with hoppers feeding into them, not items placed directly into the chest. They also used a batched approach, meaning it will only send the items to your shop at a certain stack amount (64). Don't panic when it doesn't instantly transfer!
Shop Restoring
Our new shop recode allows you to restore deleted shops, and therefore move your own slabbys rather than needing admin intervention!
This can be done easily through /slabby restore
, which will open a GUI showing your recently deleted shops. You can then select the one you wish to restore and select the new slab for it! This means your items are not lost when shops are deleted!!
Shop Logs
You can view shop logs in the Owner GUI - which features buy/sell logs alongside withdrawals from shop owners and deposits. This is an easy way to track anything you'd like about your shops activity!

Shop Stats
Similar to logs - but slightly less specific - shop stats is a cool feature to view some key information about your shops activity - from the volume of customers, sales, etc.

Shop Owners
Many people choose to share shops, or collaborate with others! This is easy to do with our plugin, you can easily add co-owners to your shop which enables them to add/remove stock alongside sharing profit!

To configure profit sharing - you first need to decrease your own cut. The shares must add up to 100%, so you'll need to do the maths and figure out how you want to split this yourself. Profit cuts can have up to 1 decimal place - eg 20.5% - entering 20.45% would round up.
