We support Proximity Chat! Simply install this mod:
That link is the latest 1.21 version as of updating this article - however we always try to run the latest version on the SMP. If you are, however, having issues - please try using that version. This article will always include the version tested on the SMP and verified as working.
Then, it should be ready to go when you join! Keep in mind, not all players use this & we don't force anyone to use it. But it'll be useful for talking to any friends you know who do have it :3
