# Elytra Trims

Elytra Trims are.. exactly as they sound! We support applying all of the vanilla armour trims to elytras, allowing you to maximise your swag 😎

Whilst the server plugin was developed by us, for us, it does require a client side mod to be installed for the rendering & textures - developed by another lovely author.

### Applying Trims

They're applied quite simply - in a smithing table, the same as any other piece.

### Custom Effects

You can add a glow to your elytra trim! This is done with the following recipe:

Additionally, we have a very cool effect for Patron+'s and above: Cosmic Elytras <sup>✨</sup>

This can be applied using /patronelytra - and can be applied to any of your elytras, but is only active whilst you maintain your subscription, and won't work for others.
